Away Resorts


The history

Founded in 2008, Away Resorts has 8 locations around the UK, each offering something unique to those wanting to relax, explore and have an adventure. It’s perfect for families and couples alike, who are able to take advantage of the different surroundings and facilities that each park offers.

The business has been built on the great experiences that customers have had and continue to have. The number of locations has recently increased to include a site in Lincolnshire.

We have worked with Away Resorts since 2018. At that time, each park had a different EPOS system which was causing a number of issues for the business as a whole. It was vital that these different systems were consolidated to allow for accuracy of data, and a better understanding of the business operations also across individual sites.

The Process

 As each park grew, so did the demand on the till systems. Each park had a different till system and the complexities around this were compounded by the poor quality of those systems.

Away Resorts appointed Centegra as the new supplier of till systems, resulting in every park having the same system. Centegra worked closely to deliver a solution that would consolidate these systems and provide data for the business as a whole but also for individual sites.

The Result

 We showed Away Resorts that by having a truly flexible solution that was tailored to them and their requirements, they were able to measure and manage with business reporting and analysis. There was also the additional advantage of operational support that was available whenever it was required. Wi-Fi connectivity could be an issue at times, so for Away Resorts, this support was crucial.

As Away Resorts has grown, Centegra has been beside them every step of the way. Managing like for like sales, looking at the performance of each park, drilling down to specific parts of the business and having an API integration with their back office operations are the key benefits to having Centegra’s flexible and consolidated platform.
